1. BOOKING & CONFIRMATION

Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit and signed acceptance of the quotation and terms and conditions.

2. QUOTATIONS

All quotations issued by Thumoya Events are valid for 14 days from the date issued. Prices may change after this period due to supplier, transport, or material cost increases.

3. PAYMENTS

A non-refundable booking deposit is required to secure the event date. Full payment must be made before the event date unless otherwise agreed in writing. Outstanding balances may result in cancellation of services.

4. HIRING OF DÉCOR & EQUIPMENT

All hired items remain the property of Thumoya Events. Clients are responsible for all hired items from delivery until collection. Any damaged, stained, broken, or missing items will be charged for at replacement value.

5. REFUNDABLE CLEANING DEPOSIT

A refundable cleaning deposit may be charged on hired items. The deposit will only be refunded if all items are returned clean and in good condition. Deposits are non-refundable where items are returned dirty or damaged.

6. DELIVERY & COLLECTION

Delivery and collection times must be agreed upon in advance. Additional charges may apply for long-distance travel, stairs, difficult access, waiting time, or late-night collections.

7. CANCELLATIONS & POSTPONEMENTS

All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Deposits paid are non-refundable. Cancellation within 30 days of the event may result in full payment becoming due. Postponements are subject to availability and supplier approval.

8. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

The client must ensure that the venue is accessible and safe for setup and breakdown. The client is responsible for obtaining all necessary venue permissions and approvals.

9. DAMAGES & LIABILITY

Thumoya Events will not be held liable for delays, damages, or cancellations caused by weather conditions, venue restrictions, load shedding, accidents, acts of God, or supplier failure beyond our control.

10. OVERTIME

Any overtime requested beyond the agreed service period will be charged at an additional rate.

11. PHOTOGRAPHY & MARKETING

Thumoya Events reserves the right to photograph and use images of setups and events for marketing and promotional purposes unless otherwise requested in writing by the client.

12. ACCEPTANCE

Payment of deposit and/or signing of the quotation confirms acceptance of these terms and conditions.
